Austin + Shaelyn’s Downtown Monroe Courthouse Elopement

Austin and Shaelyn decided to opt for a courthouse elopement and let me tell you—I loved it.

Their day was completely centered around the two of them and the commitment they were making to one another.

And even with a courthouse elopement, they still got to have some of those traditional wedding-day moments. We started with a first look, and Austin was completely in awe of his bride.

Afterward, we spent some time taking bride and groom portraits around Downtown Monroe before their family joined us outside of the courthouse for a small, intimate ceremony.

It was simple, meaningful and completely them.

I love wedding days like this because they are such a good reminder that your wedding does not have to look one certain way. You can keep it intimate, include the traditions that matter to you and still have your day documented beautifully.
