How far in advance should I book?
For weddings, I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance. Portrait sessions typically book 2-6 weeks out depending on the season.
If you are newly engaged and planning a wedding sooner than 6-12 months out dont be afraid to reach out and check availibility! It is never too late to ask!
How do I officially book a session or wedding?
A signed contract and retainer are required to secure your date. Once those are complete, you’re officially on my calendar.
Do you travel?
YES! I love to travel. Travel fees may apply depending on location — Just ask for details.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad on our session date?
For portrait sessions, we will reschedule if needed. For weddings, we roll with it —rainy days can still make magic!
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutley. Flexible payment plans are available for weddings and extended packages.
How long does it take to get our wedding gallery?
Typically within 6-8 weeks. Sneak peeks usually go out within 48 hours.
Turn around time on galleries varies depending on the time of year and current editing que. Times are normally slower between September - December.
Do you work with a second shooter?
Yes! Second shooters are available and recommended for larger weddings or tight timelines.
Have you photographed weddings like ours before?
Every wedding is unique, but I come prepared for anything — lighting challenges, timeline changes, and all the unexpected moments.
Can I bring my pet to our session?
I do love pets! As long as it is discussed prior to our session I am completely fine if your furry friend joins us!
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
Totally normal. I keep sessions relaxed and fun — some of the best photos come from the in - between moments. I like to let kids be kids. Even if that means it takes time for them to warm up to me. I do not force them to do anything they do not want to do. I am a mom too so it is not a bother to me. :)
Will we receive all of the images?
I deliver the best images from your session — No duplicates, test shots, or blinks. I try to only deliver print worthy images. (And maybe a silly one here or there, too.)
Can we request specific shots?
Absolutely! I encourage all of my clients to share what their vision is for a session. I may not match it identically but it helps me know exactly what you are looking for in your gallery.
